La Dolce Vita - Italian for "the sweet life." Whatever it is Italians call it, I'm into it. Loosely translated to mean a life that is full of pleasure and living to the fullest, to see it in person just head to southern Italy in August.
Their way of life is addictive. Up early with the sun. Espresso for breakfast with maybe a biscuit or pastry. Always with friends. Mostly sitting, why the rush? Work for a bit until it gets too hot then head to the beach. Siesta in the afternoon and then into the town square at night for a big feast, wine, smoking (one thing I don't approve of!). They laugh a lot. They are always together. They are always talking.
This is Italy.
